“WINNIE”

1935 Rolls Royce 20/25 long wheel base limousine in black over Burgundy “coachwork by Thrupp & Maberley” Reg NJ5500

“WINNIE” is very special and is a very proud grand lady. Part of her life being used by our Great War time leader Sir Winston Churchill. Proudly driven by his long time chauffeur, Frank “Joe” Jenner

Winnie has been a famous car in Churchill’s home town of Westerham and known as Churchill’s Rolls Royce.

Churchill was driven for the last time in Winnie when he left his home at Chartwell, knowing this, Jenner kept the last cigar smoked in Winnie, which we still have today.

After Churchills passing, Winnie was used for weddings and events in the area until Jenner’s retirement.

Being both Rolls Royce and Churchill enthusiast it seemed fitting when the opportunity arose to look after this grand lady and to be used for special days like weddings.

In recent times Winnie has carried royalty, members of the Churchill family and war veterans as well as many brides, all with the same pride.
